Are you looking to spoil a charming senior who just needs a good home? Fontina may be the one for you!
Fontina came to us from another shelter late in 2020. We aren’t sure much about her history, but she was likely living outdoors before being found. We don’t know if she was a very friendly community cat or if was abandoned outdoors, but we do know that she is more than ready for a Forever Home of her own.
Fontina is gentle natured and gets along well with everyone. Right from the beginning, she showed us her affectionate demeanor. She enjoys some good chin and neck scratches and will purr up a storm to show her appreciation. She would be a great addition to most families, including those with young children.
This lovely lady also gets along great with other cats. Although she is still somewhat new to us, she has not had any issues with the other cats in her suite, which is saying a lot considering that we have a few big bruisers in the FIV+ Suite!
Although she is a senior, Fontina only has very minor health issues. Her one eye is a bit squinty due to an old entropion that we repaired, but she is healing and it doesn’t cause her any pain.
